The Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre on the banks of the Thames is a reconstruction of the original open-air theatre designed in 1599. Shakespeare worked here and wrote many of his best works here.

IIn the Globe Theater Exhibition you will get an impression of theater in the time of Shakespeare and how the currentShakespeare’s Globe Theatrecame about through various displays and live demonstrations.

Do you want to experience a play by Shakespeare, as it was performed at the time? Then visit a performance at the Globe Theater. During the theater season, which runs from May to September, plays by Shakespeare, his contemporaries and writers from our time are staged.
