Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre

The Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre on the banks of the Thames is a reconstruction of the original open-air theatre designed in 1599. Shakespeare worked here and wrote many of his best works here.

Do you want to experience a play by Shakespeare, as it was performed at the time? Then visit a performance at the Globe Theater. During the theater season, which runs from May to September, plays by Shakespeare, his contemporaries and writers from our time are staged.
