Covent Garden used to be a fruit and vegetable market. Today it is one of the liveliest places in London. Not only does Covent Garden have a lot of shops, there are also many nice restaurants and pubs, a “flea market” and an antique market.

Covent Garden is the place of street theater. Someone always performs with his act in and around the main building.

Covent Garden also houses the London Transport Museum and the Royal Opera House.

Covent Garden is just a very cozy place, where there is always something to experience. An absolute must to visit.

Opening Hours

Covent Garden Piazza is always open, but the shops are usually open from Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Apple Market is open from 10 am to 6 pm and the East Colonnade Market is open from 10 am to 7 pm.
